Mindy Matouk, owner and buyer of Butterfield, graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2004 with her master’s degree in Interior Architecture. In 2005 she opened Butterfield in downtown Providence, RI as a venue to provide the public with accessible, beautiful and functional interior design and decoration. Since then, the store has received many awards and generated much positive press, including “RI Monthly’s Best Resource for Custom Furniture.”
